Kids are so innocent and unfiltered it makes them geniuses. Today, my boss’s 6 year old asked me to stop working and go sit with her and when I asked why she simply said “cause I want some attention” and of course, i laughed at her bluntness. She asked why I was laughing and I told her that she admitted something that grown ups find embarrassing to admit and she said, and i quote, “Why? Everyone needs attention. It’s better to just admit it than to do something bad to get it.”
